Do not give up hope on yourself or your children. We have 4 children ages 5-8 yrs (youngest are twins) and at times i feel like "throwing in the towel". My favorite parenting books and inspiration are "3 Steps to a Strong Family" and Positive Discipline by Dr. Jane Nelson. We also enjoy watching super nanny and looking at websites like these. The "payoff" is BIG...adult children who respect you! :)
