Before you sub ject yourself to the begging and whining for toys while shopping, think of some different possibilities to make your shoppin g experien ce more pleasant. If your children don 't stay with you when you go into a store, don't take them with you! Find some way to shop while they're in school or being watched by someone else.
If you do take your kids with you, ask them if they think they['re big enough and strong enough to go into the store and not ask for thin gs. if they say yes, tell them that's great. If they do ask for something, what will that tell you? Have them tell you they're not nog enough and strong enough yet. Then, if they do ask, be prepared to leave the store. It might take more time for you, yet the message to them is that when you say something, your word means something. Kids respect parents who are true to their word. try ity and let me know how it works out for you.
