Regardless of the age or sex of the child, this is a great activity to have positive interactions between parent and child.  Today's kids know a lot more movements and songs than I did when growing up.  You're also helping your brains to function more effectively because you're using both hemispheres of the brain at the same time.  So grab your kid, sit down and have some fun.  You probably need it more than he or she does.
